Stars Restaurants, LLC manages 37 independently owned restaurants in Texas, USA, with its partners. Each Stars Drive-In is separately owned and operated. They have been partners for over 20 years and work together to provide the cleanest and safest restaurants, the highest quality food, and the friendliest service in town to all of our customers and staff.
Hundreds of thousands of people choose to eat at Stars Drive-ins across Texas each month. They are a well-known restaurant chain in the Texas area.
Project Objectives
The client owns a physical store network across Texas, and each location operates independently. The final goal was to create a virtual platform to provide a digital platform in the form of Food ordering Mobile App Development for placing an order online without having to wait in line to pick up the order. The application should display nearby outlets with Product availability in the Menu so that users can place orders. Specific orders must be assigned to the Outlet manager in order for them to be ready on time; hence, the Outlet manager will have a Tablet application for order management. In addition, the application should allow for customised orders based on the customer’s preferences in order to serve requested food. Both iOS application and Android application were to be incorporated.
The Challenge
The client wanted their Food ordering eCommerce to have its orders be processed in 30 minutes, and fitting the complete logic inside that time frame proved difficult. The application flow for Order customization, combo, and reorder, as well as price variations, is totally dynamic. Cancellation and refund or purchase procedure to ensure client with highest quality services with varied notifications and updates was another complex module to manage without any manual interference.
The Solution
We received a thorough brief of the client’s business and expectations in order to present the most cost-effective solution. We proposed a mobile application for consumers to place online orders, as well as a tablet application for order administration and a web application to operate the entire operation.
