About Project

Established in 2000, Scrubs and Beyond is a well-known fashion-focused healthcare clothing brand for professionals. Having 100+ stores across 30 states in the USA, their healthcare omnichannel eCommerce platform was crashing every now and then due to heavy traffic, hampering buyers’ experience and revenue. This is exactly where we helped them in a 360° revamp of their existing platform.

What We Did

The entire eCommerce store development project underwent a makeover as the UI/UX designers revamped its appearance. Subsequently, the eCommerce web developers assessed the code and opted for an upgrade to Magento 2 while adopting industry best practices to completely revamp the online platform. By integrating the Magento 2 varnish web server, we reduced the load on the eCommerce server , resulting in faster page load times. Apart from that, the varnish distributed the incoming traffic across multiple web servers, improving scalability of this healthcare eCommerce platform.

Elasticsearch service was implemented for smart product browsing to make the B2B healthcare website user-friendly and deliver the ultimate shopping experience. Since this medical eCommerce store has dynamic product listings with varying attributes, categories, and filtering options, our eCommerce programmers integrated GraphQL to simplify the process of creating and customizing these listings by providing a flexible way to query and filter product data.
